Teltron Discharge Tubes
The Teltron range of demonstration discharge tubes
has been designed to show the properties of the free
electron.


The D range is the original Teltron range with connections
fixed on the tubes. The S range is a newer range with
connections on the stand rather than the tubes.
Please note the ranges are not interchangeable.

Teltron Maltese Cross Tube D
High-vacuum electron tube with divergent electron gun
aimed at a fluorescent screen partially obscured by a
Maltese cross. For demonstrating the linear propagation
of electrons in the absence of applied electromagnetic
fields by projecting the shadow of a Maltese cross onto
the fluorescent screen. Application of a magnetic field
using the Helmholtz Coils allows for students to study the
fundamental science of electron optics, such as beam
focusing. Instructions included.
