Introductory Microbiology Kit
This kit is designed to give an introduction to Microbiology
studies. A workbook is included. The kit allows for 10 groups of students working individually or in groups.
Activities included are: Making broth cultures, effects of temperature, Making plate cultures, Antibiotics and their effects on cultures, Staining, Pasteurisation, Living bacteria
study, Study of fungi, Life cycle of Mucor and many other
activities and applications. The kit has been developed
to give a thorough understanding of all the practical
activities that would be conducted in a 'real life' microbiology
laboratory thus introducing students to the importance of this critical field of study.
